Cooking the Pasta
1. Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
2. Sauté the Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add diced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Prepare the Cream Sauce

4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with black pepper and chopped parsley to taste.
