Fried Jumbo Shrimp

Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

2

Bread the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Shrimp

Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5

Make the Cocktail Sauce

In a small bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, and lemon juice. Mix well.

6

Serve

Serve the fried shrimp hot with the house-made cocktail sauce on the side.
