Crab Cakes
Method
Instructions
Prepare the Crab Mixture
In a large bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, and beaten egg. Stir until well mixed.
Fold in the bread crumbs until the mixture holds together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Form the Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
Chill the Cakes
Place the crab cakes on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Cook the Crab Cakes
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp.
Serve
Serve the crab cakes warm with remoulade sauce on the side.
