Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat and let marinate for 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Soak the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning.

  3. 3

    Cook the Rice

While the shrimp is marinating, cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside once cooked.

  4. 4

    Skewer the Shrimp

Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.

  5. 5

    Heat the Grill

Preheat the woodfire grill to medium-high heat.

  6. 6

    Grill the Shrimp

Place the shrimp skewers on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, brushing with melted butter during the last minute of cooking.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and serve over a bed of rice with house-made Cajun mustard sauce.
