Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion, slice the tomato, and wash the lettuce leaves. Set them aside.

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your woodfire grill to medium-high heat.

Form the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

Grill the Onions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

Grill the Burgers

Place the patties on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

Toast the Buns

During the last minute of grilling, place the brioche buns cut side down on the grill to toast lightly.

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted brioche bun, place a grilled patty, followed by sautéed onions, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
