For the Spicy Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich

Method

Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour mixture, then dip them into beaten eggs, and finally coat them with cornmeal.

2

Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken tenders and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3

Toss in Nashville Sauce

In a bowl, toss the fried chicken tenders with the Nashville hot sauce until well coated.

4

Prepare the Buns

In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat and toast the brioche buns until golden brown.

5

Assemble the Sandwiches

Place the spicy chicken tenders on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun. Top with pickles and cover with the other half of the bun. Serve immediately.
