Directions
Prepare the Tuna
Finely chop the fresh tuna fillet into small pieces or pulse briefly in a food processor until coarsely minced.
Mix Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the chopped tuna, bread crumbs, egg, green onions, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Form Cutlets
Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties or cutlets, about 1 inch thick.
Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. You want enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.
Cook Cutlets
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the cutlets in the skillet. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain and Serve
Transfer the cooked tuna cutlets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
