Chicken Cutlets

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three shallow bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and place the breadcrumbs in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken Cutlets

Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure an even coating.

  4. 4

    Pan-Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken cutlets to the skillet in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Transfer the cooked cutlets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
