Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form it into a patty approximately 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 3

    Add the Cheese

After flipping, add your choice of cheese on top of the patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bun

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat and toast the burger bun until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with the other half of the bun.
