Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

Cook the Sun rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, set aside and keep warm.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the Southwestern seasoning and keep warm.

  3. 3

    Season the Shrimp

In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Charbroil the Shrimp

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, basting with the seasoned butter until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a serving plate, place a bed of cooked Sun rice. Top with the charbroiled shrimp and drizzle with remaining seasoned butter. Serve with blue cheese dressing on the side.
