Preparation
Cook the Noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Asian noodles and cook according to package instructions until just tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Prep the Protein
If using steak, slice it thinly against the grain. If using chicken, slice it into bite-sized pieces. If using shrimp, ensure they are peeled and deveined.
Chop the Vegetables
Slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, and cut the broccoli into small florets. Rinse the snow peas and slice the green onions.
Cooking
Stir-Fry the Protein
In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, chicken, or shrimp and stir-fry until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil if needed. Add the minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine Everything
Add the cooked noodles and protein back into the pan. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Toss everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and well mixed.
Serving
Garnish and Serve
Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
