Pan Seared Halibut

Prepare the Halibut

Season the halibut fillets with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add halibut and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving.

Basmati Rice Pilaf

Cook the Rice

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in basmati rice and cook for 2 minutes. Add water and salt, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender.

Broccolini

Sauté the Broccolini

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add broccolini, salt, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender and bright green.

Sauteed Mushrooms

Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are browned and tender. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Burgundy Steak Sauce

Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine burgundy wine and beef broth. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Add minced shallots and cook until the sauce is reduced by half. Whisk in butter and season with salt and black pepper.
