Prepare the Turnips

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and trim the Hakurei turnips, then cut them into halves or quarters depending on their size.

Roast the Turnips

In a large bowl, toss the turnips with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender, turning halfway through.

Plate the Dish

Once roasted, remove the turnips from the oven and let them cool slightly. On a serving platter, arrange the roasted turnips, crumbled goat cheese, and taqueria pickled vegetables.

Sprinkle the Carolina Gold rice chips around the turnips and top with fresh cilantro leaves and sesame seeds.
