Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- 2
Form the meatballs
Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
- 3
Bake the meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- 4
Cook the linguini
While the meatballs are baking, cook the linguini according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 5
Prepare the marinara sauce
In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the roasted garlic marinara sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through.
- 6
Combine linguini and sauce
Add the cooked linguini to the marinara sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- 7
Assemble the dish
Serve the linguini on plates, placing two meatballs on top of each serving. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 8
Melt the cheese
If desired, place the plates under a broiler for 2-3 minutes to melt the mozzarella cheese.
