Crostini and Toppings

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Crostinis

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

2

Make the Tomato Topping

While the crostinis are baking, dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add salt, black pepper, and a tablespoon of olive oil. Mix gently to combine.

3

Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the crostinis are ready, remove them from the oven. Spread a generous amount of ricotta cheese on each crostini. Top with the seasoned tomato mixture and finish with fresh basil leaves.

4

Serve

Drizzle a little more olive oil over the assembled bruschetta before serving. Enjoy your delicious bruschetta warm or at room temperature.
