Preparation and Cooking
Marinate the Meat
In a large bowl, combine the flank steak or chicken breast with Shiner Bock beer, serrano peppers (sliced), lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
Prepare the Vegetables
Slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Set aside.
Grill the Meat
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the meat from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
Assemble the Fajitas
On a large serving platter, arrange the grilled meat and vegetables. Serve with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, flour tortillas, Mexican rice, and refried beans.
Serve
Allow everyone to build their own fajitas with their desired toppings.
