Method
Brownie Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt the Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
Mix in the Eggs
Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Layer Peanut Butter
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter, then pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Serving
Plate the Brownies
Place a warm brownie on a plate, drizzle with salted caramel sauce, and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Add Whipped Cream and Mint
Finish with a dollop of fresh whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
