Cooking Instructions

1

Cook the Pasta

In a medium pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for about 1 minute until it's lightly golden. Gradually add the milk, whisking to prevent lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

3

Add Cheese and Seasoning

Remove the pot from heat, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

4

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well coated.

5

Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spoon the mac and cheese into individual ramekins or a small baking dish. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs.

6

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your individual mac & cheese!
