Method

Fried Shrimp

1

Prepare Shrimp

Soak the shrimp in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

3

Coat Shrimp

Remove shrimp from buttermilk, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Dredge shrimp in the flour mixture until fully coated.

4

Fry Shrimp

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Creamed Corn

5

Cook Corn

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add corn, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.

Spicy Tomato Marmalade

6

Prepare Marmalade

In a saucepan, combine diced tomatoes, sugar, red chili flakes, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Simmer over medium heat for 20-25 minutes until thickened.

Garlic White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

7

Boil Potatoes

In a large pot, boil cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain.

8

Mash Potatoes

In a mixing bowl, combine hot potatoes with butter, minced garlic, white cheddar cheese, and milk. Mash until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
