Method

Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water, remove the shell and devein if necessary.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Clams

Soak the clams in cold water for 30 minutes to remove sand. Rinse under cold water.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Snow Crab

Thaw the snow crab legs if frozen and rinse under cold water.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lobster Tail

With kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise, exposing the meat.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Boil the Seafood

In a large pot, fill with water and bring to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Cook the Clams

Add the clams to the boiling water first, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until they open.

  3. 7

    Cook the Shrimp and Crab

Add the shrimp and snow crab legs to the pot and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

  4. 8

    Cook the Lobster Tail

Add the lobster tail to the pot and cook for 5 minutes or until the meat is opaque.

  5. 9

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Sides Preparation

  1. 10

    Prepare the Corn

Bring a separate pot of water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.

  2. 11

    Cook the Potatoes

In the same pot as the corn or another pot, add small potatoes and boil for about 15 minutes until fork-tender.

  3. 12

    Prepare the Garlic Bread

Slice the loaf of garlic bread and bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until golden.

Serving

  1. 13

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the seafood on a large platter, drizzle with garlic butter, and serve with the sides of corn, potatoes, and garlic bread.
