Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mussels

Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells to remove any dirt or debris. Remove any beards by pulling them out with your fingers.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Add Wine and Mussels

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot and cover with a lid.

  4. 4

    Steam the Mussels

Steam the mussels for about 5-7 minutes, or until they have opened up. Discard any mussels that remain closed after cooking.

  5. 5

    Season and Serve

Stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve the mussels hot with lemon wedges on the side.
