Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Jalapeños
Slice the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds if you prefer a milder flavor. Grill them over medium heat until they are tender and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
- 3
Prepare the Beef Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- 4
Cook the Beef Patties
In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 5
Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Spread cream cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked burger patty on the bun, followed by grilled jalapeños, bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 7
Serve
Serve the El Paso Burger hot with your favorite side dishes.
