Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, cut the hamburger buns in half and place them cut-side down on the grill or skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Add tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately while hot and enjoy!
