Dumplings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, shrimp, scallops, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, salt, black pepper, black mushrooms, and cornstarch. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Assemble the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful of the seafood filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Cook the Dumplings
Steam the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper for about 8-10 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
- 4
Prepare Youtiao
Fry Youtiao doughnuts in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the steamed dumplings drizzled with additional soy sauce if desired, alongside the fried Youtiao doughnuts.
