Nasi Goreng Crab Fried Rice
Method
Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Egg Crêpe
In a bowl, beat 2 eggs and season with a pinch of salt. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture to form a thin crêpe. Cook until set, then remove and set aside. Repeat with the remaining eggs.
Fry the Rice
Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the aromatics. Add the Nam Pla fish sauce, soy sauce, and homemade Nasi Goreng sauce. Mix well.
Add the Crab and Season
Gently fold in the blue crab meat, green onions, and chili paste. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
Place a portion of the crab fried rice onto the center of each egg crêpe, fold the edges over, and serve hot.
