Bourbon Chicken Noodle Bowl Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat sesame oil. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Combine Sauce and Chicken
Pour the sauce over the chicken, reduce heat to medium, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Thicken the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Add this to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Cook the Noodles
Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Combine Everything
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss to combine.
Serve
Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
