Cooking Pasta
Boil Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making Mushroom Sauce
Sauté Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the sliced Portobello mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and browned.
Season the Sauce
Stir in the chopped parsley and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Combining
Mix Together
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the mushroom sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.
Serve
Plate the spaghetti, top with grated Parmigiano cheese, and serve immediately.
