Ice Cream Making Process
Prepare the Ice Cream Base
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or until it's completely chilled.
Churn the Ice Cream
Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
Freeze the Ice Cream
Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serve
Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy your homemade La Glace!
