Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a boiling point. Ensure the water is at a rolling boil before proceeding.

Add Tea Leaves
Once the water is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of black tea leaves to the kettle. Stir gently to combine.

Simmer the Tea
Reduce heat to low and let the tea leaves steep in the boiling water for about 10-15 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the tea will be.
Serving the Tea

Strain the Tea
After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer to pour the tea into small serving cups. This will remove the tea leaves and leave you with a smooth brew.

Garnish and Enjoy
You can garnish the tea with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint if you like. Serve immediately and enjoy the soothing flavor of Turkish tea.
