Preparing the Tea

Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan over high heat.

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags.

Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer it.

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until fully dissolved.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Serving the Iced Tea

Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

Pour the chilled tea over the ice, filling the glass to about 3/4 full.

Garnish with a slice of lemon and a few fresh mint leaves.

Serve immediately for a refreshing beverage.
