Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Ingredients
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they start to brown, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- 3
Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- 4
Add Marsala Wine
Pour in the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.
- 5
Stir in Cream
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 6
Combine with Pasta
Toss the cooked fettuccine with the shrimp and sauce until well coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- 7
Serve
Serve the Shrimp Marsala hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese on the side.
