1. Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brush with olive oil. Grill for about 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. In the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with honey.
2. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. Make the Bacon and Tomato Cream Sauce
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, cooking until tomatoes are softened. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, letting it simmer for a few minutes. Add the chopped bacon back into the skillet, and season with salt and pepper.
4. Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked penne pasta with the bacon and tomato cream sauce. Slice the grilled honey-glazed chicken and arrange it on top of the pasta. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil on the side.
