Tea Mixture Preparation

1. Brew the Tea

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

2. Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves and add 2 tablespoons of sugar while the tea is still hot. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow it to cool.

3. Add Milk

Once the tea has cooled, mix in 1 cup of milk or creamer to the sweetened tea. Stir well and set aside.

Tapioca Pearls Preparation

4. Boil the Tapioca Pearls

In a separate pot, bring 5 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of tapioca pearls and cook according to package instructions, usually about 20-30 minutes until they are soft and chewy.

5. Sweeten the Pearls

Once cooked, drain the tapioca pearls and rinse them under cold water. In a bowl, mix the pearls with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar to sweeten them. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.

6. Combine All Ingredients

In a large glass, add 1 cup of the sweetened tapioca pearls at the bottom. Fill the glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) and pour the prepared milk tea mixture over the top.
