Burrito Filling

Burrito Assembly

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Rice

If not already done, cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside once cooked.

2

Make Salsa Gringa

Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and diced green chilies in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

3

Prepare Guacamole

Mash ripe avocados in a bowl and mix in lime juice, diced onions, cilantro, and salt to taste. Set aside.

Assembling the Burritos

4

Fill the Tortillas

Take a large flour tortilla and place about 1/2 cup of cooked rice in the center. Top with 1/4 cup of salsa gringa and 1/4 cup of guacamole.

5

Roll the Burrito

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring the filling is secure inside.

6

Repeat for Remaining Tortillas

Repeat the filling and rolling process for the remaining tortillas.

Topping the Burritos

7

Add Salsa Ahora

Place the rolled burritos on a serving plate and generously pour salsa Ahora over the top.

8

Sprinkle Cheese

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the burritos and place them under the broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

9

Finish with Sour Cream

Remove the burritos from the oven and drizzle sour cream over the melted cheese before serving.
