Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the olive oil and activated yeast mixture.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling Pizza

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Prepare Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.

  4. 8

    Add Toppings

Layer the pepperoni slices, crumbled sausage, chopped bacon, and sliced ham evenly over the cheese. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

  5. 9

    Season

Sprinkle dried oregano and basil over the top of the pizza.

  6. 10

    Bake Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  7. 11

    Cool and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
