Cooking Instructions
1. Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the ribeye steak and ensure it's fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
2. Prepare the Fries
While the steak is marinating, prepare the fresh fries. If using raw potatoes, cut them into sticks, soak in water for 30 minutes, and then drain. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Season with salt.
3. Grill the Steak
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess liquid drip off. Brush the grill grates with olive oil. Grill the ribeye for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
4. Serve
Once cooked, let the steak rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with fresh fries on the side.
