Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the Meat Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2. Shape the Kofte

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a meatball (kofte) roughly the size of a golf ball.

3. Prepare the Adana Kebab

Take a portion of the meat mixture and mold it onto a skewer, making a long sausage shape about 1 inch thick.

4. Prepare the Shish Chicken

Thread the cubed chicken breast and chunks of red and green bell peppers onto separate skewers.

5. Cook the Skewers

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the kofte, adana, shish chicken, and shish kebab for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred.

6. Cook the Rice

While the meat is grilling, cook the rice according to package instructions.

7. Assemble the Platter

On a large serving platter, arrange the grilled meats alongside the cooked rice, green salad, and lavash bread.
