1. Prepare the cheese grits

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Slowly whisk in the Weisenberger cheese grits, reduce heat to low, and cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Stir in salt, pepper, and half of the creole butter.

2. Sauté the shrimp

In a skillet, melt the remaining creole butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice.

3. Assemble the dish

Spoon the creamy cheese grits onto a plate. Top with the sautéed shrimp and finish with crispy tobacco onions.
