1. Prepare the Potatoes

Boil the new potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.

2. Buttering the Potatoes

Add butter to the drained potatoes and toss until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the NY Strip Steak with salt and black pepper. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time to your preference.

4. Rest the Steak
