Method

Turkey Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the turkey mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Bun and Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on a separate pan or toaster.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, a turkey patty, a slice of tomato, and a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Side Dish Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the French fries packaging. Toss the fries with olive oil and salt in a bowl.

  2. 7

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden and crispy, following the package instructions.
