Pulled Pork Preparation

Season the Pork
In a bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add water and cover. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork shoulder from the slow cooker and shred the meat using two forks. Mix in BBQ sauce until well combined.
Coleslaw Preparation

Mix the Coleslaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Chill the Coleslaw
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
