Method

Cooking the Chicken

  1. 1

    Season the Chicken

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

  2. 2

    Cook in Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté Garlic and Thyme

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and thyme. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Deglaze with White Wine

Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Allow to simmer for about 3-4 minutes, letting the alcohol evaporate.

  3. 5

    Add Cream and Parmesan

Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add grated parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.

Finish and Serve

  1. 6

    Combine Chicken and Sauce

Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce. Let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the chicken hot, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
