Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Meats

In a large pot over medium heat, add the shredded chicken, shredded pork, and sliced smoked sausage. Brown them lightly for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

Add the diced onion, carrots, and potatoes to the pot. Sauté for another 5-7 minutes until the onions become translucent.

  3. 3

    Add Remaining Vegetables

Stir in the corn, green beans, and diced tomatoes. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Combine the Liquids

Pour in the chicken broth, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine all the flavors.

  2. 5

    Season the Stew

Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme. Stir well to distribute the seasonings evenly.

  3. 6

    Simmer

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Hot

Once the stew has thickened and the vegetables are tender, serve it hot in bowls. You can garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
