Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Infuse the Tequila

Start by infusing your tequila with fresh Thai chili. Place the tequila and chopped chili in a glass jar. Let it infuse for at least 24 hours (or up to a week for more heat) at room temperature. Strain before using.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glass

Rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip it into lime salt to coat the rim.

  3. 3

    Mix the Drink

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of the infused spicy tequila, 1 oz of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, and 1 oz of fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.

  4. 4

    Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of fresh Thai chili if desired.
