Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sea Bass

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sea bass fillet for about 4-5 minutes per side or until fully cooked and flaky. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before flaking into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked sea bass, diced jicama, chopped roasted peanuts, Thai basil leaves, lime juice, chopped red chili, and tamarind paste. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Lettuce Cups

Take a butter lettuce leaf and spoon a generous amount of the filling mixture into the center. Fold the sides of the lettuce over the filling and serve immediately.
