Marinade and Satay
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Pork
In a large bowl, combine turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, minced garlic, minced shallots, soy sauce, palm sugar, and chopped kaffir lime leaves. Mix well to form a marinade. Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized cubes and add to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- 3
Skewering the Pork
Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the skewers. Leave a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Serve
Remove the satay from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Pair with pineapple peanut sauce.
