In a large bowl, combine the prawns, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for about 15 minutes.

Add Oats
After coating in the flour mixture, roll each prawn in the dried oats until fully covered.

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (approximately 180°C or 350°F).

Carefully add the coated prawns to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
