Method

Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake

1

Prepare the Batter

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined. Gradually stir in boiling water until smooth.

2

Bake

Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Let cool slightly.

Saltine Toffee Ice Cream

3

Make the Toffee

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with saltine crackers. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat until combined. Pour over the saltines and spread evenly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let cool and then chop into pieces.

4

Prepare Ice Cream

In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold in sweetened condensed milk and add the chopped toffee. Mix well and transfer to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.

Fudge Sauce

5

Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool slightly before serving.
