Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Champagne

Place the bottle of Champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is properly chilled.

  2. 2

    Juicing Oranges

If using whole oranges, juice enough oranges to yield 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain to remove pulp if desired.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a champagne flute, pour 1 part fresh orange juice and 2 parts Champagne. For example, pour 1/2 cup of orange juice followed by 1 cup of Champagne.

  2. 4

    Garnish

Add an orange slice or a few mint leaves to the rim of the glass for added decoration and flavor, if desired.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Mimosa immediately while the Champagne is still bubbly and enjoy!
