Prepare Cream Cheese Spread

Make the whipped scallion cream cheese
In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese and finely chopped scallions. Mix well with a fork or hand mixer until smooth and well blended. Set aside.

Prepare the lox
Take the cured salmon (lox) and slice it into thin strips if not already pre-sliced. Set aside.

Assemble the Bagel

Toast the bagel
Slice the bagel in half and toast it until golden brown, either in a toaster or on a skillet.

Spread the cream cheese
Once the bagel is toasted, spread a generous amount of the whipped scallion cream cheese on each half.

Add lox and capers
Layer the lox slices on top of the cream cheese and sprinkle the fried capers over the lox.

Garnish
Finish with a sprinkle of fresh dill on top of the lox and capers.
Serve

Prepare the fruit cup
In a small bowl, arrange assorted fresh fruit of your choice (such as berries, melon, or citrus) to serve alongside the bagel.
